Fan Your Sensual Flame

I cannot overstate the importance of daily conscious self-touch in order to keep the animalistic life-force in us alive. To clarify I’m not speaking of friction focused/goal oriented masturbation. I’m speaking of loving accumulation & re-sensitization.

If you are numb, disconnected from your body, or locked in your head - it’s your responsibility to prioritize; by spending deep and consistent quality time with your sensual feeling body, every day. To not prioritize this, results in an ever increasing unconsciousness & mind-based madness running your life. The body’s physical and energetic system begins to dry out and shrivel up.

Once the body can let go of its fearful fascial bracing - through high quality touch and presence...once life-force can begin to percolate through your viscerality; comfort and grounding returns as your default way of being. Peace, relaxation, and power can once again imbibe your cells.

Your body is the earth. Your hands and loving presence = the water and care. We require daily watering.

Currently we are being catapulted into a shady phase of existence, where so many are being ripped from their body’s grounded s€xual intelligence.

Our flesh is profoundly knowing and supportive. It roots us in reality, and offers a transformational space for healing.

When we separate from this aspect of our being, to do life from the mind, we drop into a fearful and unstable fragility. Neurosis begins to steer the vehicle, and now we are in a state of complete separation.

From here, we begin to identify with our stories and past traumas, which creates more stories and traumas. We then use these narratives as excuses for why our life is the way it is. We allow it to become an integral part of our self-created identity.

We dwell on it, and spin the story on repeat in our head until a deeply insidious victim consciousness consumes us. Self-pity is one hell of a drug.

Much of this misery we experience and see before us, is because our felt-sense contact with the fleshy sensuality in us - the ferociously alive animal, has died!

There are no ‘problems’ in the body. There is only what is. And “what is”, if we allow it and refrain from resisting it, is always seeking to heal and transform.

It is the resistance (which is created by our mind’s story/meaning we place on the feeling) that keeps us trapped in a never-ending cycle of emotional pain and misery. When we are highly governed by ego, we function from a core state of distrust towards life. Which of course creates more experiences for why we shouldn’t trust life.

When a person is truly present, conscious, and embodied - they will be purging pent-up energy from an intense or overwhelming experience almost immediately(or as soon as they have a moment to themselves).

There is no pulling it to the mind to attach insane meaning to it. Which only allows it to dig deeper into the nervous system and fester for potentially an entire lifetime. Pulling everything to the mind is an addictive pattern. Where our ego is attempting to create an even stronger identity - so it can survive.

For a truly embodied person, the build-up of energy is felt, and it is expressed, danced, shaken out, or simply given full presence until it dissolves and passes. Once it has been gone through fully, peace resumes, and life continues. No dwelling.

“But when I was this age, this thing happened to me and this is why I’m like this.” - Sure, if you have not been taught effective ways to circulate, purge and discharge that energetic back-up. We are taught collectively to resist, shut down, and hide. Which makes being healthy almost impossible.

We become so caught in the minds stream, that now we must place unnecessary meaning and stories on everything - why? So we can strengthen our identity. Because for our ego, even an identity of sufferance feels safer than having no identity at all (aka in a state of peace, power and oneness. With source).

Most people torture themselves with their thoughts on a moment to moment basis, while being mostly unaware of the fact. This is why building a habit of coming back into the body is so important. To remove all of that energy from the mind.

In conclusion: This is an invitation to be with your beautiful, powerful, sacred and life-nourishing body as much as you can come to.

Hearing me speak about the mind, often people assume that they must seek to reverse, fix, or stop the mind. Thankfully, none of that is necessary.

You need not even engage on the mind’s level. Instead, you shift your awareness to your body. To your felt-sense.

This is why in all my years of sharing this work, my main core message has remained the same - be in the body.

From the moment I rise, until the moment I lay, my 1st priority, before anything else, is presence in the body. To be - with the felt sense of my own aliveness, and therefore the aliveness of existence. It’s been the most beautiful, challenging, confronting & worthwhile commitment of my life. One which never ceases to deepen.

This is my deepest desire for humans. To know that peace, bliss, power and love all reside right here, right now, sitting inside of you. But to arrive to your original essence, you must prioritize being with yourself in a high quality way.

You must be willing to build the practice of redirecting the energy from your addictive/toxic thoughts, to your felt sense of the body. So that your default way of being can be re-trained. So that your energetic reservoir begins to pool in your flesh, rather than your insane ego.

From here, your natural gifts can be pulled from inner connectedness into full knowing.

Fanning your sensual flame on a daily basis is a huge support to this re-aligning process. It’s also entirely your responsibility.

Keeping yourself alive, juicy, dripping, and engorged with life-force and passion, is YOUR responsibility.

Remaining sane is absolutely your responsibility.

We are animals first. Lest we forget.

If this has been supportive for you, I urge you to share it with others. We all require a little nudge in waking up.

In love and service,

Chris
