I Am Not A Master Of Anything!

Recently, I made the conscious decision to remove the term ‘Master’ from my ‘Master Energy Worker’ credential. Why? Because its absolute nonsense!

I am not a Master of anything, nor have I ever met a ‘Master’ of anything. It is a deeply out-dated term which requires zero specific qualifications. Let me share more…

STORYTIME

Back in 2010, I began working with and assisting people with their spiritual/physical wellbeing. In this case, it was clinically, through my Traditional Chinese Medicine qualifications; Acupuncture, Herbology & Medical Qigong. (As a sidenote, I was also a long-term hedonistic nightclub DJ on the weekends to pay the bills.)

During my 4 year TCM studies, I trained under and built a very deep ‘apprentice’ style relationship with one of my teachers who happened to be a Qigong Master.

He took me under his wing, so to speak, and placed a lot of his focus on my inner development. Essentially, he gave me no answers, almost ever, which at the time I experienced as infuriating.

Instead of answering my questions, or coming to save me, he would sit in-front of me in full presence, stroking his long goatee, smiling wide-eyed, almost mischievously - saying ‘You know. You knew as soon as they walked in the door. What’s your diagnosis?’ - I scratched my head, sweated bullets, endlessly trying to analyze the patients energetic condition, ignoring my blazing intuition.

In the end, it turns out he was right; I did know. But back then I had little confidence in that which actually came very naturally to me. Over these formative years he relentlessly encouraged me to trust my energetic sensitivity/intuition in ways which I would’ve never arrived to just by myself.

Before I was able to love and appreciate him, I hated him, as all my insecurities erupted in his presence. I now get to see a similar experience transcend between myself and those who I guide. It’s a magical process of illumination. His total lack of interfering was a gift, and the truest source of empowerment.

This mentor of mine happened to be the most energetically potent individual I had ever encountered.

Meeting him impacted my entire life, and set me on a path which ultimately cracked me open to my own internal potential.

In completion of my years spent under his guidance, I remember receiving the glossy title of ‘Master’ level practitioner in the area of Medical Qigong (energy work). A title above ‘Master’, is ‘Grandmaster’ - but alas, I didn’t have enough grey hairs to qualify for this regal term.

MEN’S WORK & TOTAL DISSOLUTION

Outside of my clinical practice, around 2012, I began assisting and guiding men in the areas of communicating with, understanding, & connecting with the feminine principle from an authentic and honest place.

From Late 2015 onwards, I began moving through a deeply transformative phase of my life, where so much of my inner landscape was exposed and fell away - Including my old Qigong mentor who left this planet.

In this phase I became obsessed with the energy world, and began to delve much deeper into the classical foundational teachings which were subtly buried in my practices. I began to feel, know, and see things which I had previously very little contact with.

At the same time, straddling and nourishing this experience, I was further cracked-open to the realities of our internal polarity system.

This was all triggered and supported by a divinely timed series of incredibly deep bio-energetic clearing experiences, long distance breath-work style energy sessions, and seemingly unexplainable phenomena occurring as I engaged with the feminine.

In this phase I explored many other healing modalities and energetic lineages in an attempt to understand what was unraveling - even within the challenge of my entire physical system breaking down and resetting, I was hungry for understanding.

I plugged my experiences into the motherboard of my TCM background, tracking it in the systems of those who came to me for acupuncture/Qigong/Men’s work sessions - in an attempt to practically understand what was occurring.

Seeing the impact that our energetic polarity has on pretty much everything we do (including digesting our food) opened up a whole new way to assist people. None of the information I was receiving was new. It had been here and outlined in some of the oldest recorded Chinese and Indian texts on the truth of our inner configuration.

2017 is when I began to slowly open up energetic Blisswork sessions to women on a mass scale - combining my medical Qigong experience with my newfound polarity experience, and the rest, is history. This was the same time when I brought the term ‘Master’ back into my list of credentials.

I’ve been directly assisting and supporting humans since 2010, and over these 13 years, as you can see, the nature, delivery, methods and depth of this work has been in constant transformation, as have I.

The term ‘Master’ would assume one has already mastered. This is not true in my case. I have not mastered anything.

My daily life, my way of existing, the work I transmit, is in devotion to mastery, to knowing - which requires me to be a full time student of this life and my work in the world. I learn/receive/hear something new with almost every person I assist.

MORE ON THE WORD & THE MARKET

The term ‘Master’ is an outdated translation. SIFU or Sensei are other terms used in martial practices. It was traditionally given to those who had demonstrated their abilities/or spent a certain amount of hours engaged in said practice, to the point where they now qualify (based on an external measurement system) as teachers or authorities of said system. It’s all an ego racket.

Any words, descriptions or qualifications anyone uses, is simply a marketing tool. It’s a show-off. It’s generally all nonsense. But it’s also a helpful pointer to what may separate one persons offerings from anothers. A chess teacher who’s been playing for 8 months, vs one who has been playing for 8 years.

This world is a marketplace, and pointers help to know that which is being offered. Although it doesn’t always represent the quality of what is being offered.

At this point, If I could leave my entire bio blank, I would. But then how on earth would someone know what I’m here for.

Who I am, who you are, and the depth of what we have to offer from our individual human experience/gifts far surpasses whatever labels we may identify with. Please do not get so swept up in the marketplace life that you allow the insta-labels you identify with to limit or to define you. (While also not totally rejecting them either. They take up a necessary place.)

It’s all a game down here, and one which we can learn to play as in alignment as possible, in order to be of service.

I will also let you know if I ever do arrive to being a 'Master' - because in that moment, you can stop coming to me for assistance, as ill be pretty useless to you.

I am hyper aware of the fact that what I have to offer has the potential to be earth shatteringly transformative for a persons entire being, if they are in a season of being ready to receive it. I’m also aware that what I offer is nothing more than a ‘fart in the wind’ for someone who is not ready or available.

Much Love,

'Grandmaster’ Chris
